STI Group were appointed to manufacture the displays, and the Bargteheide-based honey specialist donated ten cents to the WWF’s “Mittlere Elbe” nature conservation project for every jar sold. The WWF has undertaken to conserve and re-naturalise existing riverside woodland in the conservation area near to Dessau.

“Diversity is essential to the honey harvest at the end of the day this is an environment which is still intact is particularly important to this company ”explains Heinrich Schulze, managing director of Langnese Honig.

The jury also thought the same thing. It stated that “the reference to nature and the associated environmental protection campaign are excellently suited to the product.”
