The 2008 Interpack exhibition in Dusseldorf was staging, for the first time, Innovationparc Packaging. It was supported by the EHI (European Retail Institute), ProCarton and the PDA (Pan-European Brand Design Association). The businesses taking part, including the STI group, presented their ideas for the future across 2.500 square meters of exhibition space.
Special Exhibition has five key themes
The special show in Hall 7a was broken down into five key themes, from creativity and sustainability up to ‘Point-of-Sale’ (POS) marketing.
In these surroundings, STI‘s presented creative ideas for best Product Presentation on the shelf. The best way for this to be achieved is through shelving that offers innovative solutions and original shelving ideas. The shown ideas could be explored through real and virtual brands.
They ranged from minimalist shelving trays to Product Promotion Systems and to Retail Ready Displays that could be fitted with wheeled display units (Rolly Dollie), which were integrated into the Presentation Shelving. Stands where customers could sample the product and Shop-in-Shop special-offer displays showed how the presentation of a product is able to influence the customer’s emotions and provide an authentic and significant experience. Modular, assembled by machine and placed on wheeled loading carriers – this showed how STI envisages the Retail Ready Display of the Future.
