As part of the launch of the new Volvo XC70 car in Norway, this elevator in a car park building (and others like it) were fitted out with views of the Norwegian wilderness, as part of communicating the campaign's "The Way Out" ("Veien Ut" in Norwegian) campaign/concept. The campaign is all about getting out of the urban box and finding a way out to nature...and so car park elevators served as an ideal medium. There was also artificial grass fitted into the elevator floor to help amplify the feeling of being outdoors. The whole experience was kind of cool, lots of fun to ride in, and people found it very engaging...certainly unmissable! And certainly fun to work with...
